Welcome to Wu Hsing Shan School of Martial Arts.
Wu Hsing Shan School of Martial Arts was founded by Alan S. Gardner, 8th Dan, Shotokan Karate, in 1975 to provide world-class martial arts instruction in a variety of Chinese and Japanese arts. Highly-trained black belt instructors teach classes in traditional Japanese-style Shotokan karate-do for both children and adults. People from all ages and skill levels can also take instruction in T'ai Chi forms for health and self-defense. Visitors to the dojo are welcomed to observe classes and talk to the many skilled instructors available. In addition to class offerings in Shotokan karate, T'ai Chi, and Hakko Ryu Jiu Jitsu, students may study weapons techniques in both the Chinese and Japanese arts.

Our school is very family-oriented, offering instruction to individuals, families, and groups of all ages and skill levels.
